When we think of the world’s most luxurious cars, supercars like Bugatti Veyron and Lamborghini Aventador come to mind. But there are also plenty of other vehicles that can set you back a considerable amount.

This list features some of the world’s most esteemed brands, as well as some relative newcomers. From custom bodies to ultra-high performance engines, these cars will surely take your breath away.

1. Bugatti La Voiture Noire

Bugatti La Voiture Noire is an exclusive hypercar designed to commemorate their 110th anniversary and pays homage to Jean Bugatti’s Type 57 SC Atlantic art deco-inspired coupe from 1934.

In 2019, the Chiron-based La Voiture Noire was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show with a price tag of $12.5 million before taxes, making it the priciest new car ever built.

2. Rolls-Royce Boat Tail

Rolls-Royce’s Coachbuild division has created an ultra-exclusive model, the Boat Tail. Only three of these will be produced, each for a customer with an appreciation for contemporary nautical design.

This Boat Tail was specially commissioned for a patron who has recently expanded his family business from its roots in pearling. It boasts an eye-catching paint shade that resembles oyster and soft rose, plus mother-of-pearl accents throughout.

3. Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta

Pagani Zonda: an iconic model that made them one of the industry’s premier names. Now they’re back with another stunning one-off, this time a Zonda HP Barchetta.

At a price tag of $17.5 million, this car is the most expensive ever produced. Powered by an AMG V12 engine producing 789 bhp and featuring an open roof design, the vehicle boasts an incredible price tag!

4. Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta

The Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is the company’s most powerful road car ever, available as a convertible version. Powered by an innovative hybrid powertrain that combines a 6.3-liter V12 engine and electric motor for 950 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, it sets itself apart with its exceptional handling characteristics.

The LaFerrari Aperta boasts a carbon fiber monocoque designed to save fuel while still producing incredible power. Plus, it comes equipped with seven-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission for added convenience.

5. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+

Bugatti recently celebrated their 110th anniversary with the unveiling of the Chiron Super Sport 300+, an ultra-special version of their flagship hypercar. Inspired by their record-breaking 304 mph car, this model is limited to 30 units worldwide and available exclusively through Bugatti dealerships.

The Super Sport 300+ boasts an 8.0 liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine with 1,577 horsepower, 100 more than the standard Chiron. Plus, it utilizes a new thermal management system and software to refine its engine, gearbox and turbochargers even further.

6. AMG One

The AMG One is an iconic hypercar that boasts top-end luxury and thrilling performance. Limited to just 275 copies worldwide, each costing more than $2 million USD, this hypercar offers unparalleled exclusivity and performance.

This car boasts a Formula 1-derived turbocharged 1.6-liter V-6 engine paired with four electric motors to produce over 1000 horsepower.

In addition to that powertrain, the One also boasts aerodynamic enhancements inspired by F1 cars. These include active louvers on top of the front wheel arches and an extendible rear wing.

7. Ferrari F60 America

In celebration of Ferrari’s 60th year selling cars in North America, they have created an exclusive edition roadster: the F60 America. Based on the F12 Berlinetta, this limited-edition roadster is limited to just 10 examples worldwide.

The F12’s engine, the 6.3-liter V12, powers this variant; sending 730 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. With an acceleration time of just 3.1 seconds from zero to sixty mph, and top speeds in excess of 200 mph, you’re guaranteed an exciting drive.

8. W Motors Lykan Hypersport

The W Motors Lykan Hypersport is a luxurious, ultra-exclusive supercar from Lebanon that was founded by automotive entrepreneur Ralph Debbas.

At the 2013 Qatar Motor Show, this car was unveiled as Arabia’s “first hypercar”.

The Lykan Hypersport is built upon a custom platform with an engine that produces 770 horsepower from its 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat six engine. With this powerful setup, it can reach top speeds of 245 mph and accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.

9. SP Automotive Chaos

After months of anticipation, Greek startup SP Automotive has finally unveiled their first “ultracar,” called Chaos. This hypercar is said to be capable of producing up to 3,000 horsepower and comes in two versions – Earth version and Zero Gravity model.

The Chaos is believed to be the world’s fastest car, set to break speed records. It has been compared with cars such as the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, SSC Tuatara and Rimac Nevera for its top speed performance.
